INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR HONEY-GLAZED HAM AND HONEY-GLAZED TURKEY BREAST:
Holiday Honey-Glazed Ham® products are fully baked
and ready to eat without any further preparation to assure that
your Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or special event dinner
impresses family and friends. They nitrogen flushed to remove
most oxygen during the Cry-O-Vac® plastic covering process,
and will keep in the refrigerator for as long as 6 to 7 weeks
after arrival, or indefinitely in the freezer, if the plastic
wrap is not punctured. Once removed from the plastic covering,
they will keep in the refrigerator up to 6 to 7 days. If re-frozen
for future use, make sure that they are double wrapped in plastic
bags to provide a good moisture barrier and keep freezer drying
to a minimum.
Holiday
Honey Glazed Ham products are baked with a minimum of
glazing to allow for those who prefer a less sweet taste.
If you prefer to serve warm, and enjoy a thorough glazing,
please follow these instructions:
1.
Remove from shipping container & box, but DO NOT REMOVE
Cry-O-Vac plastic covering.
2. If still frozen, thaw IN REFRIGERATOR for 2 days.
3. Pre-heat baking oven to 350 degrees F.
4. Remove Cry-O-Vac plastic covering JUST PRIOR to WARMING,
GLAZING, & SERVING.
5. Place on cookie sheet flat side down.
6. Combine & warm (Microwave 45 seconds) in a cup 1
Tablespoon honey, 1 Tablespoon water,
and contents of glaze packet. Stir until dissolved.
7. Apply with basting brush while baking.
8. Bake in oven for 20 - 30 minutes - NO LONGER or ham will
simply dry out.
9. Remove and serve.
